DMCA & Content Removal

NeuroFans respects intellectual property rights and responds promptly to valid takedown notices. We also treat non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII) reports with the highest priority. No account or sign-in is required to file a report.

1. What You Can Report

  • Content that uses your likeness or image without your consent (deepfakes, NCII).
  • Content involving minors in any sexual context.
  • Content that infringes your copyright or intellectual property.
  • Content that violates our Acceptable Use Policy (bestiality, violence, incest, etc.).
  • Harassment, threats, or stalking targeting you.

2. Filing a Takedown Notice

Send your notice to support@neuro-fans.com or support@neuro-fans.com, including:

  • Your full name and contact information (email and phone or address).
  • Identification of the copyrighted work, or a description of the content depicting you.
  • The URL(s) of the content on NeuroFans, or a screenshot.
  • For NCII / deepfake claims: a statement confirming the content depicts you, and (optionally) a copy of a government ID to expedite processing — stored encrypted and deleted after verification.
  • A statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorised.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

3. Our Response Times

  • NCII / minors / clearly illegal content — removed within 24 hours of verification. The uploader's account is suspended immediately.
  • DMCA / copyright claims — acknowledged within 24 hours, resolved within 7 business days.
  • Other content reports — resolved within 7 business days.

You will be notified by email once your report is resolved.

4. Confidentiality

All reports are processed confidentially. Reporter identity is not disclosed to the content uploader or to the public.

5. Counter-Notice

If your content was removed and you believe it was an error, you may submit a counter-notice to support@neuro-fans.com with:

  • Your contact details.
  • Identification of the removed material and the URL where it was located.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed in error.

6. Repeat Infringers

We maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights or repeat violators of our prohibited content rules.

7. False Reports

Knowingly submitting a false takedown notice may expose you to liability for damages, including legal costs incurred by the affected uploader, under 17 U.S.C. §512(f) and equivalent laws. Abusive or vexatious reports may result in account suspension.
